The World Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Federation's 1st World Amateur Men's Bodybuilding Championships and Electoral Congress were held at the Al Ahli Club's indoor hall in the city of Dubai, United Arab Emirates from November 3rd, 2009 till November 8th, 2009.

Update November 7, 2009: The final rounds have just been concluded, check the Results page for the winners. Sitthi Charoenrith from Thailand is once again the 80kg world champion! Fereydoun Haghi from Iran is the overall winner this year! And we heard the news that the 2010 world championships will be held in Thailand!
