2008年12月18日 -- The 37th edition of the Thailand National Games were held in Phitsanoluk, with Bodybuilding and Fitness being two of the many sports visitors could watch.

2008年11月22日 -- The Thai-Japan Youth Centre again hosted the Latchford Classic. There was gold to be won in 12 classes, and a trophy for the Champ of the Champs. New this year were two arm wrestling categories.

2008年10月18日 -- The first edition of the Asian Beach Games takes place in Bali, Indonesia. It is a multi-sport event held every two years among athletes representing countries from Asia. The Games are composed of 19 sports which have a strong television appeal such as windsurfing, swimming, beach volleyball, dragon boat racing and bodybuilding.

2008年10月6日 -- This bodybuilding competition was held during an event to promote 14 sports that will be competing during the 1st Asian Beach Games in Bali.
